Please attend the preview to inspect all merchandise in person before placing bids. Selling the estate of Robert "Bob" Grimes. Robert enjoyed a career in education of over 30 years after graduating with his master's from Western Michigan University. He started and ended his career in Brunswick County as a teacher, coach, principal, and assistant superintendent. Robert was an advocate for the students and teachers until the time of his retirement in 2019. In his free time, he enjoyed working on rebuilding John Deere tractors and spending time outdoors. He was inducted into the Bangor Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994. ALL SALES ARE FINAL - Preview Date: Wednesday, June 12th, from 10 AM to 4 PM - Auction Closes: Wednesday, June 12th, at 6 PM (Bidding closes at a rate of 5 minutes per lot) - Payment Deadline: All invoices must be paid in full by Thursday, June 13th. - Pick-Up: Thursday, June 13th from 10AM-3PM Extra time will be available by appointment only. Bring your Paid in Full invoice for quicker pickup. We will only assist in locating lots; customers must bring their own help for loading and moving merchandise. - Equipment will NOT be available for any loading, all merchandise must be moved at the buyer's expense. Please note that the auction company will not be responsible for loading. Buyer's Premium & Sales Tax: All sales are subject to a 13% Buyer's Premium added to the high bid. Buyers must pay sales tax at the current rate of 4.75%, unless a retail sales license is on file. Resale tax license holders should email a copy to jthenry@sccoast.net. Payment & Invoicing: The credit card on file will be charged up to $500.00 for a nonrefundable deposit on auction items. The total invoice amount includes the bid price, buyer's premium, and applicable sales tax. Any remaining balance must be paid in full on pick-up day. Item Removal: After the auction, the auctioneer is not liable for damage, theft, breakage, etc. Items must be paid for in full before removal from the premises. Any items not removed by the pickup deadline will be considered abandoned, and JOHN T HENRY AUCTION CO., LLC reserves the right to resell them without notification to the original purchaser.
